PIICatcher is an open-source project that automatically detects Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in its supported databases and stores this information in a data catalog. The software is compatible with popular databases such as Snowflake and AWS Redshift. This update announces exciting new features and improvements to PIICatcher.
Significant optimizations have been made to the existing codebase, enabling PIICatcher to scan databases and generate results faster than ever. PIICatcher can now detect PII information in your databases at speeds of up to 3000 columns per second.
