Release Highlights


  • Increased support for Mac M1 and ARM64 processors

    This was important for us as we want to ensure teams with different hardware and software setups can enjoy using PIICatcher. As a tool to automate your sensitive data management, PIICatcher is now available for use across your data ecosystem!
    • Updated codebase to support ARM processors including mac M1 & M2.
    • Support added to python 3.9 & 3.10

  • Improved performance

    We've made significant optimizations to the underlying codebase, allowing PIICatcher to generate scan results much faster than before.
    PIICatcher is now able to scan your databases for PII information at speeds of up to 3000 columns/s

  • Bug fixes

    We've fixed a number of bugs on PIICatcher reported by existing users. See the table below for more information:
